see ya OK

I was flying home on Monday but I hadn't really had any family (brother, sis-in-law, nephew) time in so we met up for breakfast.

When I walked in, Jett started running across the restaurant yelling "HEIDIIIII" in his little Oklahoma accent. It melted my heart I tell ya.

But then as soon as he jumped on me and gave me a hug he wanted Mia.

He loves her so much. He's smart. She's pretty cool.

After, I headed into work to try and earn my keep and then my mom and I were off to Tulsa for a Target stop and the airport.

As much as I love these quick trips back home it's a tease. Don't get me wrong, I really do enjoy our crazy life right now, all over the country (it is fun despite how much I might complain at times), but I can't wait until one day, hopefully, we are back surrounded by a bunch of Okies, it's just something about that state....

And a big shout out to my oldest nephew Dawson who turns SIX today!!! I can not believe he is that old!!! I mentioned he is smart before, but he is really smart. It's embarrassing how much smarter he is than me. And probably you too.

 I wish we lived on the same side of the country so I could take you out for all the ice cream you could eat! That's what aunts are for!
