Happy New Years!

My New Years was pretty random.
Small Oklahoma town bar with a total of 13 people inside and listened to a band. The people that worked at the bar brought homemade snacks for all 13 people. Random. But so kind.

I love Oklahoma. I'm sure going to miss you.

Christmas # 2

This year Christmas was different than any other year. Instead of only 1 family to celebrate with. I now have 2.
:::: insert little boys from Talladega Nights... "TWO CHRISTMASES" ::::::

We were able to spend Christmas Eve and morning with my family in Stillwater, and then head to OKC to spend Christmas dinner and the day after Christmas with Marshall's family.

I am so blessed to marry into his family.

Not to mention I have some pretty awesome cousin-in-laws. And because she had a desperate need for an employee 2 and a half years ago and took a chance on a brutally honest, hair twirling, Polk fan I was able to meet her crazy cousin Marshall.

I just love how the Lord works.

Christmas Morning

I love Christmas traditions.

I love hygiene products in my stockings!

I love the practical joke presents we play on each other.
I love my family.

And I am loving my new dance moves.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.

apple props

On Monday Marshall and I will be taking our engagement pics with the talented Amanda Watson.

Picking our wedding photographer has been the biggest decision we have had to make so far. One of the most important decisions. Amanda was recommended by a fellow co-worker and after meeting with Amanda over a cup of hot chocolate I knew that she was the perfect fit for what we were looking for. Her style, her personality, and her passion for what she does just screamed "Reeves/Walker Wedding".

We are SO excited to spend the afternoon running around loving eachother and having her capture that!

I am kind of hoping that we get a few shots like these....

No? Yeah you're right. Not cool enough.

Awkward Family Photos (and google) always have the best poses.

where's waldo?

IF I have ANY readers out there left you might be wondering what the heck happened to me? Christmas, wedding, packing, laziness, take your pic.

Marshall is home for 2 weeks. That's all I get of him until March. 2 WEEKS! I have to plan months of getting stuff done with my boo into 2 WEEKS! We want to just sit, relax, and enjoy each other. But there is no time.

So here is what we have been up to the last few days.

We headed to Owasso to spend the weekend with his family.

We got to spend some time with Marshall's niece and watch her open presents.
Half the time she was just excited about the box. What is up with kids?
She also got an awesome tutu from her GiGi. She didn't think it was too awesome.

We have been going through storage units full of furniture for Marshall to take with him on a U-Haul back to Philly in January. So the boys painted, and sanded, and the girls packed and organized and planned.

Wedding projects.

Furniture projects.

Packing projects.
The biggest vacuum seal bag I have ever seen.
I could fit inside.
Awesome.

We left Owasso and headed to our wedding location for a tasting.
They even had menus that said "Reeves/Walker Wedding Tasting"
Fancy.

It was all so delicious. We wanted more.

We walked around the property envisioning our big day.
We can't wait to share it with out family and friends!

Now we are back in Stilly for a few days and have another full week. But all I want to do is have Christmas. I love Christmas!

I hope everyone is enjoying this family time. I know I am.

kisses.

college

I suck at blogging. No, maybe I don't suck. I'm just not taking fun pictures right now. So here are a few to take you back.

Senior year of college, Christmas 2007 to be exact.

We decided to veto the 'tacky sweater' idea for this particular function and go reindeer style.
We were so cute and fun then!

I. Miss. College.

Happy Birthday Strat!!

Every since I was 12 I have lived at least 1,000 miles away from my biggest big brother Eric.

That's where he moved when he graduated college, and that's where his life is now. And honestly, it sucks. Especially when he met and fell in love with his wife. I couldn't hang out with my sister-in-law. And now, my big brother has 2 precious little boys and a baby girl on the way. And it still sucks. Because I don't get to see these adorable little kiddos grow up.

But thanks to the world wide web and smart people who make computers, we can now have virtual family gatherings!

Today is Stratton's birthday. He is the big 2! We skyped the fam and watched Stratton blow out his candles, eat his cake, and open presents. It would have been better in person, but our virtual birthday party was pretty fun too!
(Don't mind the ghetto quality. It was taken on my phone through Skype. And yes, I realize Stratton does not look happy but he was actually really excited about his new Thomas train)

Happy Birthday S! Next year I will come celebrate with you... east coast style!
(These pics are from July. I wish I had current pics.)

As I am getting older family I am realizing how precious family is.

kisses.
