we live in a desert.

***Warning- Photo Overload***

After a great Sunday morning church service, and a belly full of Rudy's BBQ we headed out to the Desert Botanical Gardens. We have been wanting to go, but we haven't wanted to pay the full admission price. But thanks to Groupon we didn't have to! (we don't do anything unless we have a Groupon, and you shouldn't either)

I learned my lesson last time we were out in the sun.
So I lathered up.

And then we started our desert walk. There were thousands of cacti. So much to see.
Cacti interpretations.

I pretended to take pictures of myself.
Friends don't let friends take singlets.

 Family photo.

It's a zoo of plants.

Why yes I do live near a desert. Thank you sign.

Momma's boy.

Our shadows were on crack. My legs are not that long.

Besides the incredible cacti, plants and flowers. There was incredible people watching also.
Here are a few of my favorites.
Marshall and red cowboy hat man.
He totally caught me taking his picture.
See that eye. Busted.

There was a wedding.
So we followed and watched her take pictures.... creepy? Possibly.

Orange pants/giant fanny pack lady. She is taking the colored jeans trend to a whole new level.

And my personal favorite.
Acid wash denim capri/sweatshirt wrapped around waist man.
From the looks of his camera placement I like to think he is also taking my photo...

It was a great afternoon, laughing, enjoying the sunshine, and admiring God's amazing creativity.
I would recommend the Botanical Gardens if you are visiting Phoenix.

kisses.

Acid wash denim capri/sweatshirt wrapped around waist man is awesome. I wonder what he had to say on his blog about your outfit? hehe. I love that we both enjoy taking pictures of strangers. Miss you!

So, you know I always love reading your posts.
I seriously crack up at least once while reading them.
But, the coolest thing about the photos this time was that I noticed how much Marshall looks just like his mom!!! Ha.
I know in your last post or two that you had photos of them, but he wasn't right next to her! You can definitely tell they are related, fo sho!! :)

Happy Monday!!!

Hi! I'm new here, found your blog via a comment somewhere else this morning :) You two are adorable! I've only been to AZ once, and didn't have the best time. Except for the food! I'll have to give it another try. xoxo! eliza
