Flat Stanley

One of the many awesome things about my time spent in China were the relationships that were formed with the other Americans. We were fortunate to have newlyweds on our team. Spending an entire year very closely to newlyweds was anything but boring!

Jessica and Justin (click there to see Justin's Chinese birthday) live, work, and go to school in North Carolina so the likely hood of them being able to come out for the wedding was slim.

But today, I received a letter. With 2 tiny little cardboard Royal cut outs with 2 beautiful faces glued on.
They have requested to make an appearance at our Royal wedding.
And don't worry. She apologized for wearing white to the wedding :)

kisses.

Ways to help!

You all know all about Pryce.
You all love him already.

And I feel like you would like to help?
I know us young people often feel like we don't have lots of money to donate but you can help in other ways than just money.

Prayer. They need lots of prayer. And I know that is one thing that you can give.
Prayer for peace as they patiently await their new child, prayer for acceptance of a new baby brother from Jett, prayer for adjustments for all, prayer for the finances.
They need lots of prayer.

And if anyone DOES want to help financially (they are still trying to raise quite a bit of money still) they are selling t-shirts.

We are the t-shirt family. So why not right?
America or Bust!
$10
1 color, front.
You pick your size, we send you a random color.
Kind of like a lottery. Kind of fun.

Or the 'We've Got Soul' baby blue
front and back design
$15
How could you not love that panda bear?

If you're interested send me an email heidi.k.reeves@gmail.com with your info and we will have it to you ASAP.

Spread the word. Link it to you blog. Pray lots.
You too can make a difference in this chubby little baby boy's life.

kisses.

Why are you so cute?

Have you ever seen a more precious man in your life?
The answer should "no".
But I'm partial to this guy.

I love my Papa.

Happy Mother's Day!!

I have the best mom in the world.
I'm just saying.
She rocks.
I love cuddling, and snuggling, and hugging, and laughing, and shopping, and fighting, and cleaning, and eating, and Lifetime watching, and everything with you!

I'm sorry I didn't make you a fancy homemade meal, but the restaurant take out did a fine job. Probably a better job than I would have done.
But you're such a sweet mom that you would have said my cooking tasted good.

That's just one of the 289137292321 reasons why you are the best.

I love you.
Happy Mother's Day.

kisses.

Weddings overtake Birthdays.

This year for my 25th birthday we had a giant wedding craft day.
I hate crafting. But having my friends and family there helping made it fun and easy.
A LOT got done!

Although Cathy looks like she was just reading the old books rather than helping...
A lot was accomplished.

I almost feel like I'm ready to get this wedding started... almost.

Also, Karli brought her baby over for some entertainment.
I think there was a love connection...

They both love the mailbox toy and the vacuum.
That's love.

Also, my dad had a big day.
He flew solo for the first time. Congratulations Papa Chop Chop!

I love how different and fun the 2 birthdays were.
I can't wait to see what and where next year will be like.

And a BIG thanks to all that helped with craft day. It couldn't have happened without you!

kisses.

BACHELORETTE BABYYYYYYY

My wonderful friends honored me this weekend by throwing me a little party.

We had lots of laughs!

My beautiful teeth twin cousin, Amber aka "Peepes" flew all the way from the east coast to be there.
I opened lots of fun stuff but due to my fiancé reading this I can't post pics :)

They made me put a little somethin' something' on over my dress and head to the great outdoors.
For games! Of course!

There was a piñata filled with condoms and candy! What more could a guy ask for.

We also played pin the lips on Adam Brody.
What cute, clever friends I have.

After the shower we headed to dinner.
Our "Hale" pose inspirational photo. Always.

After dinner, a few of us hardcore girls headed back to change for our pole dancing class.
Cathy had made sweatbands for us to wear...
Mine said "I'm Heidi" the rest of the crew, "Team Heidi"
What a lady.

This was soome party I tell you!

Even preggo Boz had fun. Who says pregnant ladies can't have fun? Not me!

Meet our instructor....
She rocked.

She taught us real life, everyday skills...
The rest of the pics might not be as appropriate for the blog world...

We had soooo much fun laughing and looking like idiots together. However, some might actually be "natural born strippers". It was the perfect end to the perfect day with my besties.

I know I say this all the time, but I really am so blessed to have such incredible women in my life. They love and support me daily when I feel like I don't deserve any of it. They accept me for the crazy, emotional, girl that I am. And I'm really going to miss them.

kisses.

p.s. i have so much more respect for real life strippers after doing this activity.... they deserve every dollar they make.
