back in philly

I made it to Philly!
And I am exactly where I am supposed to be.

I realized I never posted these pics from our last days in Oklahoma.

Why are these kids soo cute?

On Saturday night most of the whole family decided to take a walk to see the new land that my bro and sis-in-law bought to build their new dream home
Yes, it is within walking distance to my parents.
Awesome.
Jealous.
So we grabbed the kids and made them walk it out. We were hoping they would get tired and fall asleep.
It made us all tired. But those kids, they can go all night!
I am already missing my sweet family, but I am excited to be back in Philadelphia.

My husband needed me. He hadn't done laundry in 1 month!

I must get back to my wifely duties.

kisses.

heading out

Tomorrow I am embarking on a long journey and leaving Oklahoma. I'm sad. But know it's time to go.

I will be helping my cousins drive back with the kiddos to Alabama.

Then I'm going to drive with my other cousin to her home in Florida.

AND THEN I'll get on a plane and fly to Philadelphia and be reunited with my husband.

I'll see you in Philly in a few days.

kisses.

a day on the town

Today my cousin Peeps and I took her nieces to meet Teri and Jett at open gym.
We were hoping an hour and a half of jumping would make them sleeps.

And then Peeps decided to jump in the foam pit.
There is no easy way out of this thing.

After the gym we took the kiddos to Chick-fil-a.
What kid doesn't love chicken!

We headed home, put the kids to bed, and watched many hours of The Kardashians.

And then my dad drug us all to the airport (willingly) because he has a friend who flies a private jet and we wanted to go see it.

Entertainment in Stillwater. We are awesome.

My cousin and I decided we were going to act like Kardashians.
We could get used to this kind of living.

Aaron and my dad were in airplane happiness.

kisses.

an unexpected family reunion

I haven't blogged in a week. I haven't even had time to think about blogging. Life has been happening very quickly here. I am still in Oklahoma, Monday will make it 1 whole month. I didn't expect to still be here, but I have a really caring, understanding, husband who said to stay. I did see him for about days in the month I have been gone, so it's not like I left my husband or anything :)

I have been hesitant to blog. So much has happened, so much emotion, and tears, and laughter. I't's exhausting, and I don't know how to type it all out.

My unforgettable Grammie went to be with Jesus on Thursday, August 25. We were all gathered around her bed, holding her hand, praying, singing. It was something I have never experienced. You could feel the presence of God in that room so strongly, I will never forget that.

Family started to fly and drive into town the days after grammie's passing, and our quiet house became full of tiny children playing, walks down memory lane, celebrating 2 cousin's birthdays, laughing at how amazing, funny, and ridiculous our Grammie is, and enjoying being together during this difficult time.

Her service was Tuesday and it was a beautiful celebration of her life. My Papa and her have had an amazing life together, and knowing he is here on earth without her is the hardest part of all of this. But knowing she is dancing with Jesus in heaven makes it all a little easier.

I'm just going to end this post with some pictures of our crazy family time together. And I'll be back for regular postings soon.
kisses.

Boz and her baby!

I got to babysit sweet, precious baby Haven this afternoon.
Boz actually trusted me with her 3 month old tiny human being!

There were multiple grown moms around to help. Don't worry.

Thanks Boz for helping us to smile for a few hours!

kisses.
