i'm sorry facebook uploader

There used to be a time (college days) where I would have to force myself to wait an ENTIRE day after the social event before making a facebook album. I would try so hard to think of a clever title, or pass the job on to a friend who I knew would come up with something creative.

When I left for China, my friends wondered "who is going to tag me now?"
I have failed since my return home.

But tonight I uploaded pictures to the book FROM NOVEMBER!!

What is wrong with me? Am I lazy? Don't care? Too busy?

I try and blog post as often as I can (my life is really boring) so my 6 readers out there know what's going on with me. But why have I neglected the facebook world and the 1,000 friends I have that I don't actually know?Am I growing up?

I think I'm just lazy. I don't think I'm growing up.

Friends and Family.... don't keep asking yourself who will tag you now? You can count on me.

baby H

It was weird when my friends started to get married. Now they are starting to have babes.
And it's weird. But it's ooooh so very special.

Today we ventured to Tulsa for Mrs. Brittany "Boz" Friske's baby shower for baby Haven.
Baby Haven made out like a little princess. And every time a new gift was opened the crowd "ewwww" and "awwwww"ed.
SO cute. Everything. What a stylish dresser Haven Friske will be.

There was an impromptu princess photo booth. Because this little girl will be a princess.

I pretended I was pregnant like Boz.
Don't mind the weird black thing hanging out from my shirt.
That's my pretend unborn child's tail...

It was sooo good to be with friends celebrating Boz and her baby girl.
All the fun festivities are making me really excited for a few certain events to come!

Congratulations again Boz! I can't believe I won't get to be here when she arrives! Make sure she knows her Aunt Heidi.

IT'S OFFICIAL!!!

We know where we will be living February 2012-May 2012. No need to bring the heavy winter coats, we're headed to my birth state of Arizona!
Marshall will be working at an IHS facility in a tiny town called Sacaton, population 1,700. That's not a lot of people.
It is about 30 minutes from my aunt's house in Phoenix so we will shack up with her for 3 months.
I should probably call her and tell her it's official...
Aunt Nanc, if you're reading. IT'S OFFICIAL! You have 10 months to get ready for us :) I will tell you 14392052 times, but thank you for your generosity and love. side note- I tried calling my Aunt and her number is not in service... is someone trying to tell me something?

We are looking forward to being around family and excited for whatever adventures Arizona will bring us. I never thought I would live in AZ again! Oh how we don't ever know anything!

But first stop, Philadelphia!

p.s. Candace and Matthew are also supposed to be in AZ December-May.

thank you.

Today I got to business.
I made a stop by the English Paper Company to visit with Whitney and finalize our invitations!! They are perfect and very Heidi and Marshall.
A big thanks to everyone at the office! I know they are soo busy right now. I am so grateful to have worked with such incredible women with huge serving hearts.

After lunch with my sis-in-law and future cousin-in-law we headed to the new owners home of Paper Concierge for their launch party.
It was decorated beautifully with all of their products. It's a good thing I have no money or else I would have come home with everything!

Being around so much paper and cuteness today really made me miss my days at The Office.
After all, I did meet my future husband there :)

Now I need to get motivated to address these envelopes!

why couldn't i think of this??

Everyone knows I love a good wedding blog. I gain so much inspiration from the brides and photographers who are outside the typical "wedding bubble" and I just want to include every idea I find into mine.
But I can't. I had to finally just pick a theme and go with it and NOT change my mind every time a new post was up.

Well let me tell you... I just found a wedding that knocked my socks off.

One of my favorite wedding blogs, Green Wedding Shoes, just posted Rebecca and Derek's LA wedding, photographed by Rachel Thurston.

I wish I were their friends. I wish I was invited to this wedding.
They had a bicycle themed wedding.
I LOVE BICYCLE THEMED ANYTHING!!!
After their ceremony they had rented bikes for all their guests and they rod to a park decorated ballons and had a picnic.
They rode to an ice cream shop and everyone got ice cream sandwiches, then they had a minigolf course set up that led them through their love story and lots more fun stuff.
(all photos from GWS)

How precious. Who thinks of this stuff?? I'm. So. Jealous.

Not everyone could pull this type of event off, but please. If you are the type, do it, and invite me.

My wedding is just going to seem normal now.

There were many more unique elements to their wedding, so if you interest go check out the rest of their fun day here.

kisses.

young loveeee

Today I hung out with that newly engaged couple.
Candace is headed back to Dallas and Matthew is about to leave and they wanted to go back to the spot where he popped the question before they parted ways.
It also is the soon-to-be groom's birthday.

I love love.

C & M

Sooooo much has happen lately I don't even know where to begin. So I might just not...
I'll hit you with my highlights of the past week.

This is my oldest friend in the world Matthew.
He just came home from Iraq for 2 weeks for his half way mark and proposed to his girlfriend Candace.

This is his fiancée Candace.
We have only actually been real life friends for maybe a month, before we just facebook stalked each other. But she better like me now, because I love her. You hear that, Candace, love.

We had a little get together celebration for them at my parentals and somehow it ended in a photoshoot.
Did you know they have magazines for the sophisticated groom?

I could not be happier for the 2 love birds! I need him to get back to Iraq, so he can get back to America and get married, and I have an excuse to fly home!
(it's always somehow a little about me right?)

*****************************
And on a completely different note I went home with Cathy this weekend to her home town of Altus, Oklahoma. I love going to Altus.

This photo was on the mantle of her parent's home.
She has been taking arm shelf photos for forever. Can I get a HECK YEAH!

We had a pretty eventful trip that consisted of a tour of the new buildings in Altus, celebrating Cathy's 90 year old neighbor's birthday, eating dirty Mexican food, and watching a picture slideshow of the girls trip to visit me in China.
It was just what I needed with my best girl.

For some reason I took very little photos. However we did manage to snap this pic on our way home.
I love western Oklahoma.

kisses.
